För någon vecka sedan fick jag i min mailbox en artikel om coaching. Den är skriven av en tidigare deltagare på en utbildning i coaching som Viva Coaching har i samarbete med Göteborgs Universitet. Artikeln är tycker jag både vacker och inspirerande och den åskådliggör på ett strålande sätt hur ett coachande förhållningssätt kan integreras i en yrkesroll. I detta fall en lärares. ” As the team coach, I had presented the conditions and prerequisites for the action and asked the group to come up with a plan or solution. The group owned the problem together, and the responsibility of making choices rested with those involved.
There is great potential and creativity in groups, and a caoching approach empowers them. Whatever decisions are made will have been derived from the group and will therefore be well anchored there. These basic principles apply to individual coaching as well, and such an approach can have widerangning consequences in musical and instrumental teaching contexts.”
